Caregiver / Personal Attendant / Direct Support Professional (Martinez, CA)

Thrive Support Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Caregiver / Personal Attendant to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. This rewarding role involves empowerment through helping with daily tasks and fostering independence.

Caregiver / Personal Attendant Responsibilities:

The Caregiver / Personal Attendant will support our developmentally disabled clients with their daily living activities of such as dressing, grooming, meal planning and preparation, medication administration and community outing. Other duties will include light housekeeping.

Caregiver / Personal Attendant Qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year experience working as a caregiver or in-home aide, preferably with adults with developmental disabilities
  • High level of accountability and dependability
  • Must be able to provide hands-on care and support including bathing, dressing, changing depends, assist with medication, etc.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have a valid California Driver License
  • Must have access to reliable vehicle
  • Must be able to pass DOJ fingerprinting/criminal background check
  • Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Must be able to obtain TB test result

Caregiver Personal Attendant Benefits Include:

Full-Time (30+ hours per week)

  • $450 hiring on bonus ($100 on first day, $150 after 90 days and $200 after 6 months).
